Ethiopia - Guji

Coming from coffee’s original birthplace, this style of sharply floral, exceedingly fruit-forward, and very light-bodies coffee makes us question what coffee is and what it an be. A well made brew of this can taste more like a fruit juice than like other coffees.

The Guji growing region has become well known for this style, with the coffee cherry carefully dried on raised beds before hulling. This extended drying period allows natural flavors from the coffee cherry to permeate the seeds and develop this kind of intriguing complexity.
